Get Free Energy From
the Sun?
You Can't Afford Not To
Our
sun produces an incredible amount of energy each and every day. It would take a
mere weekend to supply our global energy consumption for one year if we only
used solar power.
The
suns energy is harnessed in two different ways; to heat water and to produce
electrical power. Simple systems have been used for hundreds of years all
around the world to heat water, however with modern technology the process is
very efficient. In fact heating your water supply with a solar hot water system
is one of the best investments you can make for your home.
Solar
electric systems, also know as photovoltaic or PV systems, are a reliable, long
lasting and pollution free alternative to traditional electricity. By taking
control of your energy production and consumption you are not only helping to
reduce the dependence on the highly toxic process of burning Earth’s limited
fossil fuel resources, you are also reducing your own vulnerability to future
price increases as our fossil fuel reserves are depleted.
Big
business is even catching on. Mega conglomerate Wal-Mart has signed up for 10MW
of solar PV on 22 store rooftops. The department sore, Kohl’s, is contracting
for 30MW worth of projects and Macy’s is installing 8MW. Is this because the
care about the environment? We would like to think so. More than likely they
realize that energy prices will continue to rise and solar will improve their
bottom line.
